How do I upload a file ›

Go to the Process page and drag your file into the upload box or click to browse.

What voices does this work best for ›

CleanCut VO works well for both AI voices and human voices. Choose the profile that matches your audio.

What are the presets ›

CleanCut VO includes presets designed for common use cases: Shorts, YouTube Narration, Documentaries, Podcasts, Audiobooks, and Custom. Each preset has been carefully tested and developed to deliver the best pacing and flow for that type of content.

Is there custom options ›

Yes. You can switch to Custom Mode to fine-tune pacing, silence thresholds, and spacing. If a preset isn’t quite to your taste, Custom Mode lets you adjust everything manually to match your preferred style.

Can this be used for audio with music ›

CleanCut VO is designed primarily for voice-only audio. If background music is mixed in, results may vary — for best performance we recommend processing clean voice tracks before adding music.

Processing and performance

How long does it take ›

Most short clips complete in under a minute. Longer recordings (e.g. 15–60 minutes) may take several minutes depending on length and options.

What if processing fails ›

We auto-convert to WAV and retry. If it still fails, you can retry from your dashboard or contact support.

Formats and limits

What formats are supported ›

WAV, MP3, M4A, and FLAC.

Is there a file size limit ›

The current limit is 750 MB per file.

Downloads and storage

How long are files kept ›

Your processed files are stored temporarily and automatically deleted within 24 hours. Files enhanced with Full Polish are processed through Auphonic and deleted by them after ~21 days.

Full Polish

What is Full Polish ›

Full Polish is an optional, per-file upgrade that applies a suite of advanced, studio-grade processes to your audio. Key features include breath, noise and hum reduction, EQ balancing, and broadcast-style mastering for a polished, professional sound with consistent volume from start to finish. You can see the specific controls before checkout.

Polish isn’t required to use CleanCut VO — it’s simply an optional upgrade to enhance your results.

Can I get a refund for Full Polish ›

Full Polish is non-refundable once processing begins, unless a technical error occurs. If something goes wrong technically, we’ll reprocess or credit your account.

Billing and subscriptions

Where can I manage my plan ›

Go to your Dashboard to manage usage and plan details. Payments are handled securely by Stripe. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time through your Dashboard.

Troubleshooting

The download link has expired ›

Jobs and files are removed after 24 hours. Re-upload your original and process again, or contact support if you need help.

The output sounds strange ›

Try the other voice profile, use a different preset, or reduce pacing strength. If you used Full Polish, adjust its options or contact support for guidance.

What happens if a word ending is cut off too soon ›

We have an algorithm that has been thoroughly tested for most scenarios to prevent this. If you find a soft phoneme has been cut, in custom settings try to increase the Post Phrase Spacing (ms) and see if this helps for that line. If it does not, the volume of the word may have been detected as silence and removed. In this case, try to adjust the Silence Threshold (dB) from the default 0 to -3 dB, for example. This prevents the silence detection from removing the soft part of the word and can fix it. When using custom settings, also change the pacing to your preference. Experimenting with Post Phrase Spacing and Silence Threshold is your best option.

Privacy and security

Do you keep my audio ›

No. Files are only kept long enough for processing and download, then removed automatically within 24 hours. All audio remains your property at all times.
