Account Information: Name, email address, and password (hashed).
Payment Details: Your payment data is securely handled by Stripe. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.
Uploaded Files: Audio files you upload for processing. These are stored temporarily and automatically deleted after 24 hours.
Usage Data: IP address, browser type, session duration, and activity logs.
Technical Identifiers: UUIDs for tracking jobs and uploaded content.
Security Tokens: For login, CSRF protection, and session handling.

Contract: To provide and deliver the services you request.

3. Use of Third-Party Services

We share limited information with trusted third-party providers:

Stripe: To handle secure payments and subscriptions.
Postmark: To send confirmation and status emails.
Auphonic (Audio Processing Partner): When you use the optional Full Polish feature, your audio file is securely transmitted to Auphonic GmbH (Austria), our appointed data processor, for professional mastering and noise reduction. Auphonic acts solely under our instruction and deletes processed files according to their retention policy (typically 21 days). No data is used for AI training or external analysis.
Google reCAPTCHA: To prevent spam and verify real users.

Some of these providers process data outside the UK or EU. Where this occurs, your information is transferred under recognised safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations, EU adequacy decisions, or standard contractual clauses.

4. Data Retention

Uploaded files are deleted from CleanCut VO's servers automatically 24 hours after processing. For files enhanced with our optional Full Polish feature, audio data is processed by our specialist audio provider, Auphonic, and is deleted from their systems according to their own retention schedule (typically 21 days).
Account and payment data are retained as long as your account is active, or as needed to comply with legal obligations.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies to enable login sessions and core site features. We also use Plausible Analytics, a cookie-free service that collects only anonymous, aggregated usage data such as page views and country-level traffic.

Affiliate referral tracking (FirstPromoter). If you visit via an affiliate link, we set a first-party referral cookie so we can credit the promoter if you later subscribe to CleanCut VO Pro. If you become a paid subscriber, we share minimal attribution data with FirstPromoter (your email address and a referral identifier stored in Stripe checkout metadata). We do not share full payment card details.

Advertising and Analytics

We use a combination of analytics and advertising tools to improve performance and measure results. These tools are only loaded after you accept non‑essential cookies in our cookie banner.

Plausible: Anonymous, cookie‑free analytics used to understand overall site usage.
Microsoft Clarity: Provides anonymized heatmaps and session insights to help us improve usability. We do not review or store sensitive data through Clarity.
Google Ads Pixel: Helps us measure ad conversions and performance.
Snapchat Pixel: Used to measure engagement and conversions from Snapchat ads.
FirstPromoter: Affiliate tracking that sets a first‑party cookie to attribute referrals.

7. Data Security

All file transfers are encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS). Files are stored securely and automatically deleted after 24 hours.

CleanCut VO is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are significant, we will notify users via the platform or email.
